United Robots is a proprietary robotic designer and manufacturer which aims to revolutionize industrial space maintenance with its autonomous robots. We’ve reinvented, designed and built autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) conceived for vast storage area operators i.e., hypermarkets, warehouses, sorting offices or public spaces such as shopping malls, airports or hospitals. Our products are a working example of the expertise in mobile localization, machine learning and computer vision
which convert machines into intelligent AI devices capable of working without human supervision. We are looking for robotics geeks who will share our excitement and help us to win the run leading to the world where intelligent robots will be as popular as mobile phones.
In this role, you will have a chance to work on such exciting topics as localisation and advanced mapping solutions to develop cutting-edge robotic algorithms and push the limits of our robots to a new level. Wanna join the revolution?
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and implement SLAM algorithms for the accurate localization of mobile robots in a dynamic environment
- Analyze and interpret sensor data (e.g., lidar, cameras) to extract meaningful information for localization
- Design and deploy localization and mapping solutions for efficient navigation in complex environments
- Conduct research and experiments to optimize SLAM performance and robustness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SLAM solutions into our robotic systems
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
- Previous practical experience in SLAM, with expertise in one or more of the following: GraphSLAM, Visual SLAM, 3D point cloud SLAM, or topological mapping
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python
- Strong mathematical background with experience in probabilistic robotics and sensor fusion
- Experience working with robotic hardware and sensor systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Basic knowledge about Machine Learning algorithms applied for Computer Vision is a plus.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to relocate to Warsaw, Poland and to work mainly on-site.
Our offer:
- contract type of your choosing
- basic salary relevant to your experience
- financial and non-financial support in relocation
